Through candid and courageous stories of lived experience, these mental health champions share their resilience and recovery, emphasizing the importance of culture and identity in the mental health movement.

From Secrets To Strength

Poojah Mehta, a rising leader in the Asian American/Pacific Islander mental health community, shares her story of recovery and her focus on amplifying the voices of people who are underrepresented in their communities. She is currently a student at Columbia University working toward a master’s degree in public health and sits on the NAMI New York State Board of Directors.
